September 7th, 1950 – Everlast’s Foundation: Albert Both establishes the original company, specializing in aluminum products, marking the birth of Everlast.
January 4th, 1960 – A New Addition, Frank Bruno: Everlast welcomes Frank Bruno, along with 6 other employees. At just 16 years old, Frank begins his journey with the company.
August 4th, 1970 – The Advent of Alumitex: Pioneering in the manufacturing industry, Everlast launches Alumitex Windows & Doors, venturing into the production of vinyl windows.
February 18, 1976 – Frank Bruno’s Investment: In the thriving era of the 1970s, Frank Bruno, recognizing the company’s potential, decides to invest by buying shares, deepening his commitment to Everlast.
February 10, 1988 – The Next Generation Steps In: Childhood curiosity turns into passion as Mike and Johnny, aged 10 and 8 respectively, start to show an interest in window-making, accompanying their father to work and setting foot on their future path.
January 1, 2007 – The Bruno Era Begins: The legacy continues with Mike and Johnny Bruno, who had been nurturing their interest since childhood, taking an active role in Everlast, marking a new era under the Bruno leadership.
July 1, 2007 – Launch of Air-Tite: To meet the escalating demands of Everlast & Alumitex, Air-Tite is launched. This new venture, a partnership with Nick Belpulsi, focuses on catering to all insulated glass requirements.
July 1, 2008 – Everlast’s New Home: A significant consolidation occurs as Everlast, along with its associated companies, moves into a sprawling 45,000 square foot facility at 299 Carlingview Drive.
October 1, 2012 – Expansion with Napa Valley Doors: Napa Valley Doors, founded in 2007 by Sandy Figliomeni and Sergio Vittorino and known for its high-end solid wood doors, becomes the newest member of the Everlast Group.
September 1, 2014 – Partnership with Cardinal IG: Post the divestiture of the Air-Tite IG business unit, 2014 witnesses the beginning of a promising partnership with Cardinal IG, a global leader in the insulated glass industry.
January 1, 2017 – Launch of Altitude Window System: Everlast continues to innovate with the introduction of the Altitude Window System, an Energy Star rated line of aluminum windows, blending efficiency with design.
January 1, 2018 – Acquisition of A&R Ross: The Everlast Group broadens its horizon with the strategic acquisition of the A&R Ross facility in Thunder Bay, further expanding its reach and capabilities.
October 2020 – Acquisition of Alberta Vinyl Windows & Doors: Partnering with Michael Andrade, Dallas Paquette, Mike Slapman, and Ron Sharma, the Everlast Group acquired a small window fabricator in Calgary and quickly expanded to a beautiful 30,000 square foot facility building vinyl, hybrid, and aluminum windows for Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the Western US customers.
March 2021 – Open Distribution Branch in Saskatoon: Under the leadership of industry veteran Deepak Dhand we opened up a showroom and distribution centre in Saskatoon to service the Saskatchewan and Manitoba markets.
